Motorway Lessons
If you have already passed your test but are nervous about driving on the motorway, we can offer motorway lessons to help you gain confidence in this important area of driving. A two-hour session should give you a good boost, with enough time to cover all aspects of motorway driving. If after this you feel you would like more, then we can arrange this, but you are not bound to any number of lessons. Simply book as many or as few lessons you feel you require to gain the confidence you need.
There are numerous differences between motorways and other roads and you will gain knowledge and experience of the different rules, regulations and signage that applies.
You will cover:
- Planning your journey
- Joining and leaving the motorway
- Safe speeds and varying circumstances
- Taking effective observation
- Signs, signals and road markings
- Overtaking
- Lane discipline
- Fatigue
- Breakdown procedures
- Use of lights
- Crosswinds
- Courtesy
- Debris on the carriageway
Motorway Driving Government
Restrictions
The government are focusing on motorway
driving and safety with restrictions on new drivers coming into
force soon aspect driver training will support you every step of
the way, making sure you are confident in your motorway driving
skills.
How much do motorway lessons cost?
Motorway lessons are of a minimum two-hour
duration and are charged at £26 per hour.
