and incorporates the B+E Test in the afternoon.

A one-to-one form of tuition, or 2
students together. The two day course includes the B+E Test on
the afternoon of the second day. We rarely, if ever, take more
than 2 students on a course at any one time.
The two training days are run with a break
of either 3-7days or back to back, to allow students time to
practice the exercises they learnt on the first day, in
readiness for the second day of training. We have found that
this method of training can make the difference between those
who pass first time, and those who fail. If there is a time
limit for students to qualify, they may opt for 'back to back'
training.
We cover all
aspects of the B+E Test, these include:-
On Road
- We will bring you back up to Driving Test standard and
encourage you to lose all the bad habits you may have
accumulated; such as one-handed steering and resting a hand on
the gear stick. The on road training will cover
trailer-handling, observations, road positioning, planning and
awareness, signalling, use of controls, mirrors, and speed.
Off Road
- During training, we will take you to the off-road area where
we will run through the exercises and assist you in becoming
confident and competent. We will cover:-
Reversing - accuracy, control, and
all-round observation for a snake reverse into a bay park.
Braking - controlled stop at 20mph through
coned area.
Uncoupling and Recouping - release trailer
from vehicle, move forward and park alongside, before
re-attaching trailer as a new and unfamiliar trailer. Accuracy,
control and safety being of prime importance.
In fact, we provide you with everything
you will need to accomplish your qualification.
Why bother with the B+E test
If you have been
towing large trailers, caravans, boats or horse-boxes, and you
do NOT have the correct entitlement (Category B+E) on your
licence, you are running the risk of 9 points
on your licence, and a fine.
3 points for 'no category'.
6 points for 'no insurance'.
There could also be a fine of £400+.
